Why choose distance learning?
Distance learning is an ideal way to study if you want to earn money at the same time. Our distance learning law courses offer much more support than you might expect from a law correspondence course or home study course in law.
Details of the support available is given on the course pages in the ‘prospective students’ section of the site, but you can rest assured that distance learning legal training with ITC does not mean getting a parcel in the post and being left to get on with it. All courses include online and printed materials, as well as ongoing access to our staff by telephone or via our online student forum. Many courses also include face-to-face sessions either for induction, practical workshops or revision.
Who is distance learning study suitable for?

Why study by distance learning with ITC?
ITC was set up in 1983 to deliver distance learning courses for qualifications awarded by the Institute of Legal Executives (now the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) to legal secretaries and legal clerks wishing to gain the qualifications whilst continuing with their work. Although we have expanded our range of qualifications to include law at all levels, we have always remained a specialist distance learning law school.
Students who are learning at a distance need to have the syllabus delivered in a way that they can use without constant supervision. Course materials have to be developed with this in mind. Enrolling with us for your distance learning law course will mean that your course resources will have been developed for you, not adapted from the materials for full-time students as can so often be the case.
