CILEx Level 3 Unit 03 Criminal Law - £295

This course will deliver detailed knowledge and skills to give you a good understanding of Criminal Law and its application. This web page covers the content of this course - information on how our supported distance learning courses are delivered is given on the page titled 'Courses for CILEx Level 3 law and practice units'. The fee is £295 if purchased as a single unit,  but discounts are available if purchased as part of a bundle of units as indicated under the heading 'Application' at the bottom of the page. CILEx Level 3 units were known as ILEX Level 3 units until recently. CILEx stands for the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. It was known as the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) until the award of a Royal Charter in January 2012.

Who is the course for?

This course is relevant:

  • if you are studying for a CILEx qualification as indicated below
  • if you are a member of the public who would like to have a better understanding of what constitutes a crime, how criminal liability is established and the defences available
  • if you are an unqualified member of staff or paralegal working in the criminal department of a law firm
  • if you are an advisor in a charitable organisation such as Citizens Advice then this is an ideal training course.
