Mortgage Repossession
Mortgage Repossession - £200
Who is the course for?
The course is ideal for support staff who wish to move into a file-handling role. We recommend that you should study the CILEx Level 3 Land Law and Conveyancing units first if you have not already gained relevant experience in working in this area. The course is also suitable for qualified staff who wish to switch to mortgage repossession work or refresh knowledge in this area of practice. If you are a legal executive and this is not your area of specialism you can allocate 50% (8 hours) of your annual CPD requirement, or 100% if it is.
What will I study?
The course covers taking possession, suspension of possession orders, enforcing the order, costs, regulation of mortgages, power of sale, recovery of a shortfall, receivers and defences. To give an indication of the course content, please click here.
