Revision resources for ILEX Level 6 exams

We recommend that all Level 6 law and practice students attend an intensive Revision Course, described more fully below. We also offer a Course Summary for each Level 6 law and practice unit and these are an essential revision aid, so if you can't attend a Revision Course then we strongly recommend that you order a Course Summary. Both the Revision Course and the Course Summary are included in the ILEX Level 6 course fee so you do not need to purchase these additionally if you are an ITC student, but make sure you take advantage of your entitlement to these resources. Both items are available to non-ITC students using the application form at the bottom of the page.

What is the Course Summary?

The Course Summary is an invaluable revision aid which is written with reference to the corresponding ITC Course Manual. The Course Summary focuses on the areas which are important for exam success and on topics that you are likely to find the most difficult to learn and understand. The Course Summary costs £21 to purchase alone. If you enrol on a Revision Course then the Course Summary will form part of your Revision Materials.

What form does the Revision Course take?

Revision courses will be held in London and Manchester in advance of the January 2011 exams. A full list of dates for the winter 2010 programme is available below. The courses are included in ITC's Level 6 courses, but are also open to non-ITC students.

The cost of the Revision Resources for each subject is £165.00, which includes the Revision Day and the Course Summary.  We strongly recommend that you attend an ITC Revision Day.  However the Course Summary can be purchased separately without the Revision Day, for £21.00 plus postage and packing.

ITC one-day revision courses include:

  • Revision Questions which are available electronically in advance of the course
  • four ninety-minute seminars led by experienced revision tutors
  • the opportunity to raise points with a revision tutor to help with your understanding of difficult topics
  • answers to the Revision Questions
  • the relevant Course Summary
