The Virtual Practitioner Practical Law
The Virtual Practitioner Practical Law series enables you to test and develop your knowledge of legal practice by working through interactive tasks. Subjects offered include Civil Litigation, Conveyancing, Criminal Litigation, Family Practice, Probate Practice, Practice of Law for the Elderly Client and Employment Practice. All exercises reflect typical tasks in each practice area, with realistic scenarios presented as client case files. The tasks are varied and interesting and each one provides instant feedback, enabling you to identify your strengths, and the areas where you need to do more work. You can complete standard forms, draft standard legal documents, and create file notes and correspondence in a virtual legal environment. These learning resources are web-based and accessible through our Student Area. They are included in our distance courses for ILEX Level 3 practice units, but are also available to order separately.
Prices range from £21 to £30. Discounts are available on Practical Law Virtual Practitioners when purchased at the same time as a course manual in the related ILEX Level 3 unit.

The Virtual Practitioner Legal Writing learning resource will boost your confidence in legal writing by teaching and testing effective writing techniques. It introduces you to the rules of grammar in a legal context, and teaches you how to select an appropriate tone, style and layout. By working through the modules you will learn a disciplined and structured approach to legal writing. All tasks are interactive, making your learning experience stimulating and enjoyable. The Legal Writing title is priced at £37.00.
Technical information
The Virtual Practitioner resources are available on-line via our Student Area. When you make a purchase you will be sent login information by email which will enable you to access your selected resource for a period of one year. No hard copy is provided. Please refer to our technical specification before ordering. Please note that these learning resources are not compatible with MACs.
